Over the many years I have enjoyed creating art, my approach has continued to change. Although watercolor has always been one of my favorite mediums, I have recently become intrigued with adding ink, fabric, textural objects, and other mediums to my watercolor paintings on paper.

The contrast of light and dark, varieties of textures and contradictions in subject matter interest me the most. I always hope viewers will look deeper to find something that captures their interest. Nature and architectural design are often the subjects I use to tie my ideas together.

I have exhibited my work in more than 30 juried and invitational shows in New Jersey and New York where I received awards including Best Watercolor, Best Mixed Media and Best Oil/Acrylic. Some of the shows include the International Juried Show at the NJ Center for Visual Arts, the NJ Watercolor Society Open Exhibit, the NY Salmagundi Club Non-member Juried Show, Merrill Lynch Corporate Gallery in Princeton, The Heidi Gallery, The Gaelen Juried Art Show and NCJW Focus on Art Invitational Group Show.
